Technikki's Certification is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is a certificate that Technikki won as part of the Genius Competition.

The certificate is the main focus of the side quest Technikki's Past, in which the Bros. must deliver it to Technikki to restore her confidence. After Snoutlet suggests going to Technikki's workshop on Merrygo Island to search it, the group find a note on the workshop's garage door. It states that Technikki is on Shipshape Island now, and residents should find her there if they need anything. However, upon closer inspection, Snoutlet finds that the note has text showing that she won the First Match Genius Competition on the other side. A resident then approaches, wanting to show Technikki his latest invention, but he is soon captured by a Glohm Snaptor, regretting that he told her anyone could make the inventions. Mario and Luigi must then defeat the Glohm Snaptor and a Glohm Krode in a battle. After the battle, the resident thanks the brothers and declares he does not measure up to Technikki, planning to come back some other time. The Bros. then take the certificate and return to Shipshape.

After Technikki is given the certificate, she thanks the Bros. and remembers the Genius Competition she had with Adaphne. In a flashback, Adaphne wins the overall competition and condescendingly calls Technikki an "average genius." When the flashback ends, Mario, Luigi, and Snoutlet express their appreciation for Technikki. She responds it is all in the past and offers to help out whenever she is needed, thus completing the side quest.
